Ivan juga mengungkapkan bahwa Verrell adalah sosok yang dekat dengan keluarganya. Putranya itu sering berbagi cerita dan tak jarang mengajak keluarga saat bepergian.
"Verrell memang anaknya dekat dengan keluarga. Biasanya kalau jalan-jalan, dia juga sering ngajak mereka," tutur mantan suami Venna Melinda itu.
Saat ditanya tentang sosok Fuji, Ivan memberikan respons positif. Ia mengaku sudah mengenal Fuji dan keluarganya sejak lama. Menurutnya, selebgram tersebut memiliki kepribadian yang baik.
"Sosok Fuji baik ya. Saya juga sudah kenal orang tuanya karena sering ketemu. Apalagi kita ada di satu partai yang sama," ujar Ivan.
Ivan kembali menegaskan bahwa yang terpenting dalam hubungan anaknya adalah rasa nyaman dan saling mendukung.
"Soal perjodohan, saya selalu bilang, siapa pun yang Verrell pilih, yang penting ada saling dukung dan support. Selama Verrell merasa nyaman, saya pasti mendukung," pungkasnya.
