NONTONNEWS.COM - Presiden Prabowo Subianto secara resmi mengumumkan kebijakan besar terkait kenaikan gaji bagi guru honorer, PNS, dan PPPK dalam acara puncak peringatan Hari Guru Nasional di Jakarta, 28 November 2024. Langkah ini menjadi angin segar bagi para tenaga pendidik yang telah lama memperjuangkan peningkatan kesejahteraan mereka.
Kenaikan Gaji Guru Honorer Bersertifikasi
Kebijakan ini secara khusus menguntungkan guru honorer yang telah memiliki sertifikasi. Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti menyatakan bahwa guru honorer bersertifikasi akan menerima tambahan gaji sebesar Rp2 juta per bulan di luar honor reguler.
Sertifikasi ini hanya diberikan kepada guru yang telah mengikuti dan lulus program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), yang berlangsung selama dua semester. Abdul Mu’ti menegaskan bahwa sertifikasi menjadi syarat utama untuk mendapatkan kenaikan gaji tersebut, sejalan dengan komitmen pemerintah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di Indonesia.
Kenaikan 100% untuk Guru PNS dan PPPK
Selain guru honorer, kebijakan ini juga mencakup kenaikan gaji pokok bagi guru PNS dan PPPK sebesar 100%. Kenaikan tersebut hanya berlaku untuk komponen gaji pokok, tidak termasuk tunjangan lainnya. Dengan langkah ini, pemerintah berharap dapat memberikan apresiasi lebih kepada guru Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) yang berkontribusi besar dalam dunia pendidikan.
Tanggapan dan Sorotan
Meski disambut baik, kebijakan ini juga menuai pertanyaan dari sejumlah pihak. Guru swasta dan honorer nonsertifikasi, misalnya, mempertanyakan nasib mereka dalam skema kenaikan gaji ini. Banyak guru swasta yang masih menerima gaji jauh di bawah standar layak, dan mereka berharap mendapatkan perhatian serupa.
Selain itu, guru honorer yang belum memiliki sertifikasi merasa khawatir akan terpinggirkan. Mereka yang belum mengikuti atau tidak lolos seleksi PPG maupun PPPK mendesak pemerintah untuk mempertimbangkan kebijakan tambahan bagi mereka.
Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan untuk Pendidikan Lebih Baik
Langkah ini menjadi bagian dari gebrakan pemerintah dalam memprioritaskan kesejahteraan guru. Dengan gaji yang lebih layak, diharapkan kualitas pengajaran dan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik akan meningkat. Kebijakan ini, meski belum sempurna, menjadi langkah awal yang penting untuk mendukung transformasi pendidikan di Indonesia.
Ke depan, pemerintah diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi lebih inklusif agar semua guru, termasuk guru swasta dan honorer nonsertifikasi, juga merasakan manfaat kebijakan ini.
