NONTONNEWS.COM - Dalam pertandingan lanjutan Liga 1 2024/2025, PSBS Biak menunjukkan performa menawan dengan mengalahkan Persija Jakarta 3-1 di Stadion Kapten I Wayan Dipta, Gianyar, Bali pada Kamis malam (12/9). Kemenangan ini menjadi yang pertama bagi PSBS setelah sebelumnya belum meraih kemenangan dalam tiga pertandingan terakhir.
Di awal babak pertama, PSBS menunjukkan dominasinya dengan serangkaian serangan berbahaya. Para pemain seperti Alexsandro, Beto Goncalves, Armando Oropa, Jonata Machado, Marckho Sandy, Todd Ferre, dan Takuya Matsunaga banyak mengancam pertahanan Persija. Meskipun beberapa peluang dari Beto, Matsunaga, dan Alexsandro belum membuahkan gol, tekanan mereka tetap intens.
Persija juga tidak tinggal diam. Ryo Matsumura, Rayhan Hannan, Maciej Gajos, Riko Simanjuntak, dan Gustavo Almeida berusaha keras untuk merespons serangan PSBS. Namun, PSBS berhasil mencetak gol pertama pada menit ke-33 melalui sundulan Julian Velazquez yang memanfaatkan umpan sepak pojok dari Todd Ferre.
Menjelang akhir babak pertama, Persija berhasil menyamakan kedudukan. Hanif Sjahandi sukses menuntaskan umpan dari Ryo Matsumura dengan dingin, menaklukkan kiper PSBS, John Pigai.
Memasuki babak kedua, pelatih Carlos Pena melakukan pergantian dengan memasukkan Rizky Ridho dan Witan Sulaeman. Persija memperlihatkan intensitas serangan yang meningkat, namun peluang yang ada belum dapat dimanfaatkan dengan maksimal.
Di tengah tekanan dari Persija, PSBS justru berhasil menambah gol. Julian Velazquez kembali menunjukkan ketajamannya dengan sundulan kedua memanfaatkan bola mati pada menit ke-72, menambah keunggulan PSBS menjadi 2-1.
Di akhir pertandingan, PSBS memperbesar keunggulan mereka. Pada masa injury time, umpan mendatar dari Jaimerson berhasil disapu oleh Syahrian Abimanyu, namun bola malah masuk ke gawang sendiri, mengubah skor menjadi 3-1. Persija sempat memiliki peluang di detik-detik terakhir, namun sundulan Gustavo Almeida hanya mengenai tiang gawang.
Dengan hasil ini, PSBS Biak akhirnya mencatatkan kemenangan pertamanya di Liga 1 musim ini, sementara Persija Jakarta harus menelan kekalahan pertama mereka dalam kompetisi ini.
