NONTONNEWS.COM - Patrick Kluivert telah resmi diumumkan sebagai pelatih kepala Timnas Indonesia pada Rabu (8/1/2025). Penunjukan legenda sepak bola Belanda berusia 48 tahun ini menjadi langkah ambisius PSSI untuk membawa skuad Garuda ke level yang lebih tinggi.
Dalam perannya sebagai pelatih, Kluivert tidak akan bekerja sendiri. Ia akan didukung oleh tim asisten pelatih berpengalaman, termasuk dua nama besar dari Belanda, Alex Pastoor dan Denny Landzaat, serta dua pelatih lokal Indonesia yang belum diumumkan namanya.
Tim Pendukung yang Solid
Keputusan Kluivert membawa Alex Pastoor dan Denny Landzaat didasarkan pada hubungan profesional dan kepercayaan yang telah terjalin lama. Dalam wawancara dengan De Telegraaf, Kluivert menjelaskan bahwa ia mengenal Alex sejak mereka bersama-sama menjalani kursus kepelatihan profesional.
"Alex adalah seorang profesional sejati. Ia menunjukkan kualitasnya sebagai juru taktik saat menangani Almere City. Kami memiliki hubungan yang baik, dan saya yakin dia akan memberikan kontribusi besar untuk Timnas Indonesia," ujar Kluivert.
Sementara itu, Denny Landzaat bukan hanya teman lama Kluivert saat masih di tim muda Ajax Amsterdam, tetapi juga asisten pelatih yang loyal dan berpengalaman. Kluivert menyebut kemampuan Denny memahami budaya Indonesia dan berbicara bahasa Indonesia sebagai keunggulan besar.
"Denny pernah bekerja dengan pelatih-pelatih top seperti John van den Brom dan Pascal Jansen. Yang menarik, dia dan Alex juga pernah bekerja sama di AZ. Saya yakin kami bertiga dapat membentuk tim yang solid untuk mendukung perkembangan Timnas Indonesia," tambahnya.
Kontrak dan Rencana Debut
Patrick Kluivert menandatangani kontrak berdurasi dua tahun dengan opsi perpanjangan dua tahun. Ia dijadwalkan tiba di Indonesia pada Sabtu (11/1/2025) dan akan diperkenalkan secara resmi ke publik sehari setelahnya.
Debut Kluivert bersama skuad Garuda akan dimulai dengan laga tandang melawan Australia di Sydney Football Stadium pada 20 Maret 2025. Setelah itu, ia akan memimpin Timnas Indonesia menghadapi Bahrain di Stadion Gelora Bung Karno pada 25 Maret. Laga ini diperkirakan akan menjadi momen spesial dengan gemuruh dukungan dari ribuan suporter Garuda.
