Pembalap Aprilia tersebut mengakui kondisi fisiknya belum optimal, tetapi tekadnya untuk kembali bersaing di Sirkuit Lusail tak terbendung.
Comeback Penuh Tantangan
Dalam pernyataan resminya, Martin mengungkapkan antusiasmenya untuk kembali balapan meski dalam keadaan belum fit sempurna.
"Saya sangat bersemangat untuk kembali, meski ini akan jadi ujian berat. Tujuan utama saya adalah membangun kepercayaan diri dengan motor baru Aprilia RS-GP25," ujarnya.
Namun, ia juga realistis. Lusail bukanlah sirkuit favoritnya—musim lalu, ia hanya finis ketiga di sana. Kini, dengan kondisi fisik yang belum pulih total, tantangannya jauh lebih besar.
"Saya tidak yakin bisa bertahan penuh selama balapan. Tapi jika berhasil menyelesaikannya, itu sudah jadi kemenangan kecil bagi saya," tambah Martin.
Pertarungan Ketat di Klasemen
Martin saat ini tertinggal 87 poin dari pemuncak klasemen sementara, Alex Marquez, yang unggul tipis dari sang kakak, Marc Marquez. Marc sendiri tampil sangat kuat di awal musim dengan dua kemenangan balapan dan tiga kemenangan sprint.
Dengan ketertinggalan yang cukup jauh, peluang Martin mempertahankan gelar juara dunia terlihat sulit. Namun, kembalinya sang juara bertahan ke lintasan bisa menjadi momentum penting untuk memulai perjalanan comeback.
