Dilansir dari Newsweek melalui kantor berita Rusia, TASS, Direktur Jenderal Pusat Penelitian Medis Radiologi Kementerian Kesehatan Rusia, Andrey Kaprin, mengungkapkan bahwa vaksin ini dirancang khusus untuk mengobati pasien kanker. Berbeda dari vaksin pencegahan, vaksin ini ditujukan untuk menekan pertumbuhan tumor dan menghentikan penyebaran kanker.
