NONTONNEWS.COM - Pemerintah Arab Saudi secara resmi mengumumkan bahwa Hari Raya Idulfitri 1446 Hijriah akan jatuh pada Minggu, 30 Maret 2025. Keputusan ini diambil setelah tim pemantau hilal (bulan sabit) Kerajaan menyatakan bahwa hilal Syawal terlihat pada Sabtu, 29 Maret 2025.
Penentuan Idulfitri: Rukyat vs Hisab
Seperti tradisi tahunan, Arab Saudi menetapkan awal Ramadan dan Syawal melalui dua metode:
1. Rukyatul Hilal – Pengamatan langsung bulan sabit.
2. Hisab – Perhitungan astronomi.
Pada Sabtu, 29 Maret 2025, Komite Penyelidikan Hilal Saudi melakukan pemantauan untuk menentukan apakah hilal Syawal terlihat. Jika terlihat, maka 1 Syawal (Idulfitri) jatuh pada 30 Maret. Jika tidak, lebaran akan digeser ke 31 Maret.
Kontroversi Kemungkinan Hilal Tidak Terlihat
Meskipun Arab Saudi telah menetapkan Idulfitri pada 30 Maret, beberapa astronom menyatakan bahwa hilal sulit terlihat pada 29 Maret karena:
Bulan terlalu tipis (usia bulan masih sangat muda).
Posisi terlalu rendah di ufuk, menyulitkan pengamatan bahkan dengan teleskop.
Namun, keputusan akhir tetap berada di tangan otoritas keagamaan Saudi berdasarkan laporan pemantauan resmi.
Perbedaan Kalender Global
Penetapan Idulfitri sering kali berbeda antara negara-negara Muslim, tergantung pada:
1. Metode penentuan (rukyat lokal vs hisab global).
2. Lokasi geografis (ketinggian hilal bervariasi di tiap wilayah).
Negara-negara yang mengikuti Arab Saudi, seperti Uni Emirat Arab dan Qatar, kemungkinan besar akan seragam. Sementara negara dengan metode hisab (seperti Indonesia) mungkin memiliki hasil berbeda jika hilal tidak terlihat.
