Macaron gabungan tepung almond, gula halus, dan putih telur yang dikocok hingga kental. Pewarna makanan juga dapat ditambahkan untuk memberikan warna yang menarik. Lalu adonan dituangkan ke dalam piping bag dan ditekan ke atas baking sheet untuk dibentuk menjadi bulatan-bulatan yang sama. Setelah kering selama beberapa menit, kue ini kemudian dipanggang dalam oven hingga matang.
Isian dari macaron bermacam-macam, namun yang paling umum adalah ganache, yang terdiri dari coklat dan krim, atau buttercream yang dibuat dari mentega dan gula halus. Beberapa varian lain yang populer adalah macaron dengan isian seperti marmelade, jelly, atau pasta buah.
Macaron dikenal sebagai salah satu kue yang terlihat indah dan rasa yang lezat. Kue ini sering dijadikan sebagai kue ulang tahun ataupun pernikahan karena kemewahannya.
Resep macaron:
- 200 gr gula halus
- 100 gr tepung almond
- 100 gr tepung kue
- 110 gr putih telur
- 25 gr gula pasir
- Pewarna makanan (pink)
Cara Membuat :
1. Kocok putih telur hingga mengental, lalu tambahkan gula pasir secara bertahap sambil terus di kocok hingga mencapai konsistensi keras.
2. Campur tepung almond dan tepung kue, sift bersama-sama ke dalam adonan putih telur yang sudah dikocok. Aduk dengan spatula hingga merata.
3. Tambahkan pewarna makanan sesuai selera, lalu aduk rata.
4. Tuang adonan ke dalam piping bag yang sudah dilengkapi dengan nozzle yang ukurannya sesuai selera.
5. Piping adonan di atas baking sheet yang sudah diolesi dengan sedikit minyak atau ditaburi tepung kue.
6. Biarkan macaron mengering selama 30 menit sampai 1 jam, atau sampai permukaannya kering dan tidak lengket ketika disentuh.
7. Panaskan oven hingga 150-160 derajat celcius, lalu panggang macaron selama 15-20 menit sampai matang.
8. Setelah matang, keluarkan dari oven dan biarkan dingin sebelum digunakan atau disimpan dalam wadah yang tertutup rapat.
Note :
Pastikan putih telur yang digunakan sudah benar-benar bersih dan tidak tercampur dengan kuning telur.
